Hello everyone. Today's photo theme is SOFT. I knew I had to share my pillow that I purchased for my recovery. It has been such a blessing to me for when I cough, laugh, sneeze, and sleeping. It also protects my tummy against the seat belt. So, this is my SOFT photo today. This gray pillow is among all my COZY SOFT pillows as I rest today.
I am craving time outdoors. Even in the midst of this HEAT. Normally in the summer I get up around 4:30 to 5:00 to hike early once or twice a month. I am dreaming of the moment I can do this again. The Lord has blessed us with such a wonderful creation that can uplift, reset and has calming properties.
I am sharing some images from Pinterest that I love.
I can honestly say I always enjoy my time in nature!!!
Here is the daily photo challenge list...
With Love,
Chrissy T

A good choice for soft. The images are all so wonderful. Janice
ReplyDeleteThank you, Janice.
DeleteI'm glad that you have that soft pillow because I know how comforting those can be when we find ourselves needing to cough or sneeze. xx
ReplyDeleteYes, it has been a comfort for sure.
DeleteThat pillow looks and sounds wonderful! I am sure you will be out hiking before you know it! Take care!
ReplyDeleteI beyond ready. :)
DeleteYes! I remember what a lifesaver a pillow like that is. And I love walking or hiking in the woods too. The smell of a forest is magical! You will be out there again soon lovely Lady! Hope you're feeling a bit better every single day. ๐๐๐
ReplyDeleteThank you, Carrie.
DeleteI'm a huge fan of nature and being outside, especially walking on the beach, is definitely my kind of therapy!
ReplyDeleteWalking on a beach regularly would be so nice!!
DeleteOh yes! The tummy pillow is a must after abdominal surgery. I am assuming you had that type as opposed to the other kind. I had the abdominal type, and yes, that pillow really came in handy a LOT. Oh, I love all your pictures of the forest, etc. Yes, I love being in the woods even more than on the beach. I love the foggy woods and woods just after the rain, and just about anytime. I miss my hikes in the woods, but hubby isn't fond of them and I don't walk alone anymore. I know you are looking forward to getting back out there...hopefully when the weather starts to cool back down you will be really ready for a nice hike in the woods. Please don't rush it. The woods will still be there, but you have to be sure your body is healed first. Take your time. (((Hugs)))
ReplyDeleteThose pillows really are such a blessing. Hugs.
DeleteBeautiful soft looking pillow Chrissie & I love your images. Now I know that I am an "anthophile" (person who loves flowers). xx
ReplyDeleteMe too! I think I am all those really!
DeleteI really like the "foggy forest" quote because I feel the same way. It's a bit mysterious, right? And you do feel nature all around you in the woods. That's nice that you found a soft pillow for yourself. I have another blog friend who is doing this photo a day challenge. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteOh, cool! I am glad they are joining along with me. :)
