🌷🌸 I hope you all are having a good day. It has been a difficult week and day for me today. I will just leave it at that... but I love to pop on and give encouragement because it gives me a little boost too. Some quotes are like ENCOURAGEMENT VITAMINS!! I have a quote board on Pinterest that I weekly pop on and save quotes that minister, encourage, inspire and make me think. I like to share the ones I have recently saved.
*Please make note all images and quotes have been found on Pinterest and are not my own**
As you may can see there is a theme! Watching my reactions and checking my responses are important and as of late I am becoming more aware and keener to keep an eye on them.
Just keep blooming! It is what I am telling myself, lately. We share a lot on our blogs and while life can always be made to look fantastic or appear all is well with everyone we all do have "issues" and these two areas I am working on lately.
1. My reaction and responses
2. Keep trying to bloom when I feel like nothing is going to grow
I need to keep my mind on things that are honest, good report, lovely and worth my energy to think on.
I want to always notice the tiniest of things because those are miracles too. There is a song I love called, "A million little miracles" and I want to be grateful for the small and large things. May we see miracles and blessings in the small things. We are so incredible blessed. From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same. Some cannot even see a sunrise or sunset so enjoy those things. :) It is always about perspective.
Here is the song for anyone interested...
🎤🎤"I've got miracles on miracles. Count your miracles, 1, 2, 3, 4... I can't even can't them all! You held me steady so I would not give up, you open doors that would remain shut..." 🎤🎤 You saved my life... you set me free.... you kept my mind.... you healed my body.... you wake me up...." Everyday there is a new miracle... I got breath in my lungs.... I've got clothes on my back.... 🎤🎤
As I wrap up this post this last quote ministered to me in so many ways because it is true. I would have not written some of the parts of my life story in the last four years, but I know that the best thing I can do is keep showing up and trusting God. He is the author.
Which quote inspired you? Will you share with me below?!
The rest of my day I will probably start a puzzle, read blogs, and read a book or two. I am just not in the mood to really be physical or busy today. I need to BE STILL!
👇 Don't forget to share your thoughts about one of the quotes I have shared today!!!👇

Sending love and hugs!! Sorry you are having difficult time. I love that idea that quotes are like encouragement vitamins! Thank you for sharing! I found myself nodding along. I am going through a stage in my life where I am trying not to react to things and get involved. I taking the not my circus, not my monkeys approach to things. lol
You keep on trying to bloom!
I love every single one of your quotes Chrissie - they are so true & also applicable to my life at the present. I love things like this & will often print them off & put on my fridge to look at every day. We all need to minister to ourselves at times - enjoy your rest dear Chrissie. ♥️
Thank you so much, Kim, for the encouragement!!!!! I also appreciate the love and hugs!!!! Exactly... "not my circus" but oh it can be so hard for me to not jump into the ring. LOL
Thank you so much, Julie!!! I love the idea of printing them off!!!!
Million Little Miracles... love that so much!
Oh my, Chrissy! What an encouragement this is to me! Those first quotes about reacting...well, I needed to hear those today. Thank you so much. And, yes! to keep showing up even (or maybe especially) when the story looks so different than what I'd thought it would be! Definitely! My One Word last year was Resilience and as we became friends, it taught me that showing up is always the important thing.
I loved them all, but the one that stood out to me was the one by Hans Christian Anderson about the world being a whole series of miracles but we are so used to them we call them ordinary things...I have that on a tea mug, and I love that message! There are miracles all around us every day. We need to open our eyes and see them as God sees them...and be blessed! Saying a prayer for you today. I know it's been a hard weekend. (((HUGS)))
Me too!
Wow, that is beautiful. Thank you for sharing that!!
Thank you so much for your prayers!!!!
They are all great quotes but my favorite is the second one reminding us that we don't have to give our opinion on everything!!!
So sorry to hear your week was not a good one. Hope things get better for you. Janice
Thank you. :)
I'm so sorry to hear your week was a tough one. I hope you can treat yourself gently and that the coming week improves.
I am so sorry to hear that your week was a difficult one.
Lovely quotes.
These are very special quotes you shared today. The dandelion one I have used on my blog before. And I have to tell you, "Be still and know that I am God" is my favorite verse. Thank you for letting me hear it again this morning. We need to hear these special quote from time to time, as the world can sometimes be messy and harsh.
