Hellllllooooo, beautiful people!!! It has been a while! I ended up purchasing a new computer only for it to be a lemon (a complete waste of money) and it ended up having a manufacturing defect. Then I had to send it off and then it wasn't fixed when it returned. It has been a pickle of a mess. BUT.... we are getting back into the swing. Holidays came with a blur and many topsy turvy moments of life in between but hopefully I can pop on and connect with you all more regularly. I HAVE MISSED YOU ALL!!!!!!!! I have SERIOUSLY missed visiting your blogs.
I am sharing a couple of my favorite January quotes that I have saved this month that are speaking to me. I love me some quotes. Are you a quote lover???
I will be honest; it has been a very trying few months for our family. I cannot go into detail due to the privacy of my family, but I am slowly and I truly mean SLOWLY trying to mend and piece back this life of mine. I am thankful for the undergirding of strength I have from the Lord and a couple of friends.
As I am doing that "mending" I have definitely found myself more at home which I am a homebody in general (except for a good hike or outdoor trip) and I am learning to practice the art of QUIET. YES.....to me it is an art!!! It takes practice, skill, and endurance. In the meantime, I am trying to get motivated to get our home in order and back to normal.
What is your go to way to soak in quiet moments?
Blessings,
Chrissy T

Oh no! That is rotten about your new computer not working like it should! So lovely to see you blogging again! So sorry things haven't been the best for your family but I am glad things are slowly being sorted.
Thank you, Kim!!!
Hello, my friend. Welcome back! You have been missed. I am sorry your world has been difficult as of late, and pray it settles for you. I love the first quote so very much! Please take care, and have a cozy evening.
Beautiful illustrations and messages, dear Chrissy! I am very happy to see you back.
Hi Chrissy! It's good to see you here again. What a bummer about the computer, that is so frustrating.
I'm sorry about the hard times too, what a blessing to be able to lean on the Lord and to be supported by friends. Glad things are looking up.
I'm a homebody too.
Hello Friend, and welcome back!
That stinks about your computer. No fun at all!
I'm sorry to hear about your family issues. I hope all the sorting works out for the betterment of your family.

UGH on the bad computer. I have also had family drama lately. Hoping mine gets better and your situation too. Janice
Hello Friend! What a pain about the computer. Grrr. But sending prayers most especially for your continued mending - for you and your family. I hope you have a wonderful and blessed weekend ahead. 💗
Hello again. What a lousy story regarding your computer. These days, it should not be so hard to get a good computer! But glad you are back online...and blogging again. I smiled when I saw your name in my inbox:) Sorry to read the past few months have held so many challenges - and heartbreaks. My holidays were similar, I believe. Praying the new year brings peace, more mending for your heart and continued strengthening from the Lord!!
Ugh, technology issues are the worst. I'm glad it's straightened out now. We sound very similar, I too am a homebody and trying to embrace the art of quiet in this new year. That's not my normal state, so it's been a challenge. Glad to hear I'm not alone!
I am sorry that your new computer didn't work like it should have worked. I am glad you got one that works. I got my new computer at Costco last year and did figure out how to use it. If it wasn't working correctly, I would be able to take it back to them to get a different one or get help. A quiet time for me is after listening to KLove Christian radio for a few hours, I turned it off. By myself in the kitchen. Stay off the phone after 9 p.m. or earlier. I hope you get through what you are going through with your family. I remember it years ago. God bless you had keep you kind and happy!!
