Hello! I am joining Hodge Podge Wednesday this week. I love visiting Joyce's blog. I can't comment on her blog for some reason so, Joyce, if you so happen to see this, thank you for all your lovely posts and for hosting this wonderful fun link up party!!! Check her lovely blog out here. Also, join in on the link up!
1. It's officially spring in the northern hemisphere. Does it feel like spring in your part of the world? If you're in the southern hemisphere it's officially autumn where you live. Does the weather say autumn? Which do you prefer-spring or autumn? Why?
It is for sure feeling like spring in my area. I am in Mississippi and things are in full bloom. Today's temperature is 82 degrees. Pollen is doing its wonderful covering of everything, and hay fever is in full swing for some.
I love all seasons (Hint~ the name of my blog about actual seasons and trying to embrace life seasons as well)
Spring is preferred over autumn for me if I had to choose. I love the signs of new life, growth, and blooming of things. I love the sunshine it brings after winter doldrums. I love the colors of spring from flowers, decor and clothing. It all speaks HELLO!!! SPRING IS HERE!! :)
I do like autumn too. As it has its own loveliness. A reprieve after a long, hot and dry summer in my area. Unfortunately, due to my area Autumn is very short lived and seems to take forever to arrive and then when it does it is quick to leave.
2. What's your favorite thing about spring?
Exploring outdoors!!! Need I say more!!! Spring means a lot of hiking and waterfall chasing for me!!!! It is my favorite time of the year for that reason.
4. Which spring food from this list is your favorite? What's a dish you like that includes your favorite spring ingredient?
asparagus, strawberries, salad greens like mesclun, artichokes, spinach, eggs, peas, spring onions

Sorry you have difficulty commenting. For some reason that occasionally happens. Glad you joined the HP this week. I love waterfall hikes too and there are loads in our nearby area. Have a wonderful day!
Ooooh! That last photo is so cool! Where is that? I want to hike there with you.
It is feeling just a tad like Spring here. It's still cold but I see some crocus blooming and some moss coming out.
Love reading your answers dear Friend. Spring in every step! Love the pics of hiking out in the glorious goodness last Spring. And I have a nice little list (& honey-do one for Matt 😉) for things I want to clean out and accomplish this Spring too. I love magazines too! I swear I have found some of the best recipes in them. Blessings xo
Thank you so much!!! I so enjoy your blog!! :)
It is called Natural Bridge State Park in Natural Bridge, AL
It is like stepping back in Land Before Time
Thank you so much! I love spring. :) I need to get on my list. :) My husband dreads spring. HAHAHHAA
Spring is trying very hard to get here but hasn't quite arrived yet. :)
I too love your strawberry salad, but I also add in cooked chicken as hubby wont eat salad without meat. LOL Keep that Spring in your steps. Janice
Those hiking photos are so beautiful! I can feel the coolness in the air and hear the water falling...and the brook rushing by, it's a place I'd love to explore too. I do love spring, but probably fall is my favorite season, even if here in Florida it isn't exactly like it is up north, but still I love it. However, we are enjoying seeing everything in bloom and hearing the birds sing and seeing the world coming back to life again in the springtime. Cleaning lists? Hmmm...I should... Grocery lists I do every week, and I make other little lists of things I need to remember...cards to send to people, places I need to go...but cleaning lists? No, I have it in my head...when I see it and remember it, I do it if I feel up to it. LOL. Cleaning is not at the top of my list anymore...but it gets done as needed. I'm just not as fanatical about it as I used to be. My body rebels too quickly to too much work. LOL.
Love those photos from your hikes. The third one looks like a super cool place! I'm an autumn girl 100%. I love everything about it. Spring is okay, but I call it mud season due to all the rain. My husband works in construction and all that mud usually manages to find its way into the house. Ugh.
In all due course!! I hope it comes soon for you
Janice,
Oh, that sounds good... chicken!!! I will try that!! Thank you for sharing. Thank you!
Pamela,
I love it!!!! I think I am entering that era of my body rebelling in regards to cleaning. LOL
Oh, I could see it being muddy!!!! Yes!!! Here not so much, but when I lived in the midwest... YESSSS... spring was exactly that....mud!!!!
That waterfall is incredible! It felt a bit like spring yesterday as I went hiking with a hooded sweatshirt and light coat and wasn't freezing the whole time.
Oh wow! Your spring temperatures is what we get over here in the middle of summer. lol I love this time of year with everything coming back to life.
I hope you have lots of new adventures this spring.
Ohh! That cooking magazine looks like a good one!
Thank you, Kim. It gets super hot by mid June. like 100 plus at times.
