Lucky Rabbit Adventure~ Thrifting & Antique Fun

Hey BEAUTIFUL SOULS!!! So, I am late posting, but MY FRIENDS would believe I have done gone and caught the "Crud" again? Well, I actually was sick last week a bit but still went hiking and galivanting and doing all the "DOs" and I crashed Saturday night and crashed hard. I was supposed to lead worship and sing yesterday but apparently, they didn't want a woman up there sounding like a RASPY MAN and told me to sit out. HAHAHAHA!!! I was perfectly okay with that. :)

Anyway....I had plans with a new lady that has joined our church this past Saturday. She had invited me to go yard sale shopping, thrifting and antique looking as well as lunch. I pushed myself to go not feeling my best, but I am glad I did. It was great time. I have LOADS of pictures of this place we visited about an hour and half from us called, The Luck Rabbit in Hattiesburg, MS. It is TWO HISTORIC buildings that are over 40,000 feet of vintage, antique, junk and modern crafts. It was fantastic. Unique.

This is my friend and new church member, Chastity! It was such a nice day getting to know each other better. I am a very hands-on Pastor's wife. I love to connect and know the ladies of our church family!

You know I loved this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are a PYREX VINTAGE FAN this would have been a wonderful experience!!! They had an old Volkswagen Van filled with vintage patterns!!!

I also collect ducks and hide them. It is a "cruise thing" sooooo.... I have a little addiction of taking pictures of rubber ducks. 🤣

I mean....how does that little thing not bring a smile to someone's face??!!

Well, I have to say this was one large painting of Kenny Rogers! LOL!

Remember these old things??? It actually had a dial tone too!!!! I feel old now!! LOL!

Just an overview of the FIRST building on the second story overlook. We had a nice day! I have a lot more to show but I will spare you and share that later in the week. PART 2 will have some of the BEST MOMENTS from our day! It may or may not.... wink .... take us on a journey into Golden times with some special and famous GIRLS that were the best of friends. :)

I got this milk glass vase for cheap and a REAL plant that looks so REAL it LOOKS FAKE! I love it. I put it on our mantle for now.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I will be sharing my ONE SIMPLE THING MARCH GOALS later this week. My brain feels foggy and I feel I want to pray and really think on them so I can be intentional.

I am linking this post with Joanne at Slices of Life!

With Love,

I do love vintage! Your photos are fun and pretty.
Believe it or not, we still have a fair amount of telephone booths here in Montreal!!! Yes, we do! They can be found on certain street corners and metro (underground subway) stations!

We cannot keep Pyrex in our antique store. It sells out right away. My granddaughter collects ducks. When she went on a school trip a few years ago, she went to a store in Yugoslavia that was full of ducks in all sizes. Of course she was in love with the place and brought some home. Janice

That sounds like such a fun day out! That for sure is one big picture of Kenny Rogers (the voice of my childhood!).

Debbie,
Pyrex is the COLLECTORS THING right now. :) Lots of money in it. I don't collect it but for some it is a big deal. ;)

What a fun outing! That was so sweet that she invited you to go with her! I'm also a Pastors wife and I think its so sweet and special when church members want to form a bond with me, when they want to get to know me as myself and not just Stephen's wife lol.
And I agree, the ducks are adorable and really do make me smile lol.
I'm catching up on my friends blogs today since I finally got around to fixing my blog url and back into blogging! If you would like to visit my formally broken link should be fixed now,
