Hello! If you did not read MY NEW Goal setting system...check it here. Also, here is how I did at the end of the month. Check that post here.
After realizing that my over lofty GOALS that I planned in January and truth be told over the past year of 2025 where too much for me and really anyone on earth because maybe I set my eyes too HIGH. Yes, yes, I did. I needed a different approach.
Anyhooo, this is what I am doing now... will explain this month again this month and then will skip from here on out.
I am simplifying my goal setting this year. So, below you will see how I do it.....
I am breaking this up in a few different categories....
I will choose ONE THING for each category I want to do. I will do a recap at the end of the month!
Spiritual- I have been taking ministry courses. I am wrapping one up tonight and the other one finishes at the end of March. I will be continuing to learn, go back over resources, and apply things I am learning.
Physical- Go to One Aquacise Class a week
Emotional- Continue to journal in my prayer journal daily or as much as possible
Creative Outlet- Finish Diamond Painting my National Park Coasters
Brain Boosting- Start and Complete my puzzle my daughter got me for Christmas
Homefront- Paint back door
Organization- Kitchen Cabinets FOR SURE (I do have hopes to work on my garage, but my ONE goal is for sure the kitchen cabinets)
Nutrition- Push my daily water intake and eat at least a veggie or fruit daily (let's try this AGAIN ๐)
Ministry- create a binder and organize all ladies' ministry info~ Moved from last month to this. I purchased the stuff last month but didn't receive or collect it all as needed until now. So, I WILL COMPLETE THIS in MARCH!!!
**I am a pastor's wife. A huge part of my life is serving in our growing church plant. I have a lot of roles I serve in.
Just for FUN- make some scones or try a recipe out of a fun cookbook (one or the other... or maybe both ๐)
I would love to read about your ONE GOAL you would love to do this month?? SHARE BELOW!!!!
With Love,
Chrissy T

You are amazing! I love your goals and I do pray you will be able to accomplish them one by one. I like the quote at the end about focusing on the one step in front of you instead of the whole staircase. Sometimes we can get overwhelmed when we try to tackle the whole "staircase" of goals, ideas, and dreams at the same time. I think it was Robert Schuller who used to say, "Inch by inch, anything's a cinch!". I have learned in my "old age" that taking things one step at a time, one day at a time, and one pants leg at a time is the best way for me! Otherwise I may get off balance and/or trip and fall and have to start all over, if I can get back up at all. LOL. I enjoy reading your daily posts. You are a joy and a blessing...and an inspiration! Thank you for being faithful to your "call" as a lovely Pastor's Wife. (and mother and friend).
ReplyDeleteThank you sweet friend. I always look forward to your comments. :) They always cheer me. I love that quote you shared!!!!!
DeleteI love this! And you are so right, it's easy to set our goals too high. Little steps get it done.
ReplyDeleteI've been working on a book with family history, photos, letters and am making good progress. I won't finish this month, but maybe next month! It will be such a relief to have done and a treasure of memories. The treasures in it are letters my Dad wrote to my mom while he was in the army, and all the faith shown looking back. It's done online so my siblings will be able to order a copy too.
Oh, this is such a wonderful project you have going on. How wonderful!!
DeleteI am trying to organize my guest room currently. I do a little bit each day. Janice
ReplyDeleteWe can do it!
DeleteHello, my friend. Thanks for the inspiration! My goal this month is to organize Flynn's homeschool courses and also try to find our Easter baskets and decorations! Not quite sure they are!
ReplyDeleteAwesome goals!!!! I need to do the same with Easter!!
DeleteYes, small goals lead to big changes! I love trying out new recipes and always set a goal to try out just 1 or 2 each month; if I make more great but 1 or 2 is pretty manageable.
ReplyDeleteI think that sounds so fun!
DeleteI so relate my soul Sister. I often use Lent as my reset time - to look at the goals I set. To put focuses more where they should be going. It's always a season of reflection for me...so it works really well to break things down too. Blessings on your continued journey in all of your areas. ๐
ReplyDeleteThank you friend!!!
DeleteI love your system for your goals by putting them in categories. Good luck with them.
ReplyDeleteThe Aquacise class sounds like fun and I am set to do some painting too and sort our kitchen cupboards out. I am trying to drink more water, I've done well but not today. Eesh!
Yeah, me either. I wish water tasted like soda! LOL
DeleteThis is such an inspiring post, dear Chrissy! Thank you so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Linda! Hugs.
DeleteGlad you have fun goals too.
ReplyDeleteDon't be too hard on yourself, do what you can.
I guess my goals are daily. There are things I like to get done every day and try do to them. If not I think there is always tomorrow. :)
Yes! Thank you for the encouragement. :)
DeleteLove your goal system!
